Product Description
Cuprous Oxide, also known as Copper(I) oxide, is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula Cu2O. It is a reddish-brown crystalline solid that is insoluble in water and has a relatively high melting point of around 1,233 degree C.Cuprous Oxide is primarily used as a pigment in ceramics and as a catalyst in some chemical reactions. It is also used in the production of other copper compounds and in the production of some electronic components, such as solar cells.
In addition, Cuprous Oxide has some medical and antimicrobial applications. It has been studied for its potential use in cancer therapy and as an antibacterial and antifungal agent.
